MADEY MAHONEY

She’s a Colorado native and started skating at the age of seven at Boulder Valley Ice at Superior. She fell in love with all the sport had to offer. She was a competitive figure skater all her life and won the 2013 SW Regional Champions and the 2013 Cindy Sullivan Leadership Award during her junior year at Monarch High School. She secured a job with Disney on Ice and figure skated professionally for a year before attending the University of Colorado-Boulder. During her time with Disney on Ice, she traveled across the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico. While she loved the tour life, she knew that she wanted to move on and pursue a college degree. In May of 2019, Madison graduated from the University of Colorado-Boulder with a degree in Strategic Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Political Science.
